My name is Aiza Enolpe Tecson, and I am a licensed professional teacher from the Philippines. I graduated with a Bachelor of Secondary Education major in Mathematics from Ateneo de Davao University in 2018. I have always been passionate about education and believe that teaching goes beyond delivering lessons. It is about inspiring students, recognizing their individual strengths, and helping them become confident and responsible individuals.

I have several years of teaching experience in different educational settings. I started my professional journey as an online English teacher with 51Talk, where I taught young learners from different age groups. In July 2021, I joined the Department of Education as a permanent public school teacher at Mt. Apo National High School in Davao City. There, I teach Mathematics and other learning areas to junior high school students, many of whom come from Indigenous communities. This experience has taught me the importance of cultural sensitivity, patience, inclusivity, and adapting my teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs.

I also teach English online to international students through Novakid, where I work with children from different countries and backgrounds. This has further strengthened my communication skills, creativity, and ability to build meaningful connections with learners in a virtual environment.

As an educator, I consider myself adaptable, patient, resourceful, and committed to continuous learning. I enjoy incorporating interactive activities, educational technology, games, and real-life examples into my lessons to make learning more engaging and meaningful. Outside the classroom, I also take part in school and community activities, including disaster risk reduction initiatives and scouting programs, which have helped me develop my leadership, organizational, and teamwork skills.

Beyond my professional life, I enjoy watching movies, spending time with my family, and participating in church and community activities. I value opportunities that allow me to meet people from different cultures, exchange ideas, and learn from different perspectives.

Ultimately, I see myself as a lifelong learner who is always willing to grow, embrace new experiences, and make a positive difference in the lives of others. I look forward to opportunities where I can share my knowledge, contribute my skills, and continue developing both personally and professionally.
